Southern California Aviation Association Scholarship

Purpose:

The Southern California Aviation Association’s (SCAA) mission is to support, promote and coalesce the community and industry as a vital and growing asset to the Southern California Region, balancing economic development with quality of life. SCAA has a voice at the local, state and regional levels, and is proactive and effective in supporting aviation on behalf of its members. SCAA encourages young people to become involved in aviation and established this scholarship to financially support keen students intending to pursue a career in aviation.

Eligibility:

The Southern California Aviation Association Scholarship is open to:

  • Graduating Southern California high school seniors who will study aviation-related curricula and plan to attend a two-year college or four-year college or university in the United States OR
  • Southern California residents enrolled at a two-year college or four-year college or university in the United States who are currently studying aviation-related curricula
  • Have a minimum 2.50 GPA on a 4.0 scale (high school GPAs are unweighted)
  • Are United States citizens or a permanent legal resident of the United States
  • Preference may be given to applicants with a demonstrated record of community service
  • Special consideration may be given to those students with current or previous military service

$4,000.00
